Weaver’s of Wellsville, a meat distributor located just outside of Harrisburg, PA, has been using VistaTrac since 2008. The VistaTrac Box-In/Box-Out module was specifically designed for distributors in order to record traceability information while also reducing the time spent fulfilling each order. Weaver’s is able to print pick tickets with their own product numbers but scan cases from multiple suppliers with different product numbers and label formats to fill those line items. The Box-In/Box-Out module also enables them to receive and ship cases with one scan, which is great for products that need to ship out as soon as they’re received. Weaver’s originally purchased VistaTrac with the Integration module for Sage Business Works, but later switched to QuickBooks Pro. They were very happy with Schoneman, Inc.’s ability to assist with the transferring of their data and how easy it was to convert. Schoneman, Inc. also provides all of Weavers’ servers, office computers, networking, and technical support.
